Syngonium Rayii is one of the rarest species of arrowheads. That is why houseplant enthusiasts highly covet it.

The stunning foliage is the main reason this plant enjoys such popularity, and if you’re lucky enough to find one, it will make a fabulous addition to your home or garden.

This plant stands out among other Syngoniums due to its unique leaves: dark green with a silvery stripe running down the middle and a velvet-like texture. The leaves are typically 10 cm long and 8 cm wide when on size.

They grow in an environment where the temperature varies between 20 and 27 degrees C.  The humidity varies between 60% and 70% and they receive bright indirect light.  For your plant to thrive you should try to mimic these conditions.

SIZE: 6 / 12 cm

CARE: Easy if you know Syngonium

LIGHT: Medium to bright light.  The more light she gets, the fuller the plant will grow, but avoid direct light.  Lower light conditions will cause your plant to get 'leggy'.

WATER: Soil should be lightly moist and the plant should dry out slightly between watering.  During summer you will have to water a bit more, and in winter a bit less.

HUMIDITY: A humidifier should do the trick - depending on where you stay.

ADVANTAGES:  A gorgeous rarity

In my experience, I don't grow my Syngoniums with my other plants in the grow rooms.  They seem to like fresh air and drier conditions.

Plants are delivered in nursery pots.  We try our utmost to deliver a plant that looks similar to the one pictured - remember that no two plants look the same.

These plants endure massive shock when being transported, we acclimate and recover them before selling, but you are likely to find some dead roots if you remove the plants from the growing media, this is normal. We do not remove them from the growing media before shipping to check the roots for obvious reasons, but a plant that is growing happily for more than a month will keep on doing so unless there are drastic changes.

DO NOT repot this plant for at least 1 month after receiving it, the plant will go into shock again and reset the acclimation/recovery process, which can lead to death or an exceptionally long waiting time for new growth.

We look after our fellow planties, as many of our customers can attest to, if you experience problems with your plant, contact us, we will always assist.
