Philodendron Florida Mint will amaze you with its beautiful speckled minty new leaf!  The new leaf emerges as a beautiful light mint green and hardens off to a deep dark green.  The more light (indirect of course) the whiter your new leaf will be.

Our plants originate from Indonesia.  They have been growing in an environment where the temperature varies between 20 to 27 degrees C.  The humidity varies between 60% and 70% and they receive bright indirect light.  For your plant to thrive you should try to mimic these conditions.

POT SIZE: 12cm

CARE: Easy - and if you give it enough light - your new growth leaves will be white

LIGHT: Bright filtered sunlight avoiding direct light.  If your new leaves turn out to green, move the plant to a brighter spot or consider a grow light.

WATER: When the plant has dried out about halfway.  Not too much, not too little.

HUMIDITY: A pebble tray and misting should do the trick, but the plant will thrive in conditions of 40% to 60% humidity.

SOIL: Light airy soil

BENEFITS: New growth emerge as minty green speckly leaves.

Plants are delivered in nursery pots.  We try our utmost to deliver a plant that looks similar to the one pictured - remember that no two plants look the same.

These plants endure massive shock when being transported, we acclimate and recover them before selling, but you are likely to find some dead roots if you remove the plants from the growing media, this is normal. We do not remove them from the growing media before shipping to check the roots for obvious reasons, but a plant that is growing happily for more than a month will keep on doing so unless there are drastic changes.

DO NOT repot this plant for at least 1 month after receiving it, the plant will go into shock again and reset the acclimation/recovery process, which can lead to death or an exceptionally long waiting time for new growth.

We look after our fellow planties, as many of our customers can attest to, if you experience problems with your plant, contact us, we will always assist.
