Cobra Anthurium Sunlight Requirements
Preferring bright, but indirect light, Cobra Anthurium is ideal for growing near an east-, west- or north-facing window. This anthurium is a tough plant; however, avoid placing it near a south-facing window where it may be scorched by direct light.
Cobra Anthurium Plant Care
Preferring high humidity levels, the Cobra Anthurium benefits from regular misting, a constant temperature of 65 to 75°F and protection from any cold drafts. Being low maintenance, the only pruning this plant requires is removal of its browning or dead leaves at the base.
Watering Cobra Anthurium
This plant prefers consistently moist soil. Water it regularly, when the top 2 inches of soil are dry to touch. To provide higher humidity levels, the plant can be placed on a tray of wet pebbles.
Feeding Cobra Anthurium
Although not strictly necessary, the Cobra Anthurium can benefit from being fed with a general houseplant fertilizer mixed at half strength from spring until Autumn.
These plants originate from Indonesia. They have been growing in an environment where the temperature varies between 20 to 27 degrees C. The humidity varies between 70% and 80% and they receive bright indirect light. For your plant to thrive you should try to mimic these conditions.

These plants endure massive shock when being transported, we acclimate and recover them before selling, but you are likely to find some dead roots if you remove the plants from the growing media, this is normal. We do not remove them from the growing media before shipping to check the roots for obvious reasons, but a plant that is growing happily for more than a month will keep on doing so unless there are drastic changes.
DO NOT repot this plant for at least 1 month after receiving it, the plant will go into shock again and reset the acclimation/recovery process, which can lead to death or an exceptionally long waiting time for new growth.
